To the first quote
Simply put the 1680x1050 one to stretch and it should fit perfectly (i belive they are the same 8:5 dimensions)
And i'm not too sure what medium actually, i deal mostly with photo manipulation (i can't draw for crap) so i put together some pictures and with some editting, this is what i got.
