I bought an 8800GTX a few months after they were released, I paid $530. Man this thing is sweet even after having it for over a year. I run just about everything on High... I think I will wait another year before upgrading it. My laptop has an 8600M GT which is a pretty good card, I run TF2 on medium with it.
I just can't wait to get my dual 22" monitor setup soon....
